General conditions
All car rental rates quoted are in NZ $, include unlimited km, comprehensive insurance (standard excess applies) AA Roadside Assistance and GST (tax 15%).
All car hire bookings will be confirmed by email, no deposit required at time of booking.
Payment
Is made in full at commencement of hire, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Diners, Debit Cards, Cash or EFTPOS.
Drivers Licences
All Drivers must be over the age of 21 and hold a full drivers licence, however if your drivers licence is not printed in English you will need to arrange for an International Drivers Licence.
If you need to cancel the booking or return the car early
If you need to cancel the booking, please advise as soon as possible, no cancelation fee payable. If you return the vehicle earlier than expected then no refund applies.
Insurance
The car has comprehensive insurance incorporating an insurance excess liability of:
- $1,000.00 for all Drivers aged over 25
- $1,500.00 for all Drivers aged 21-25.
You may find your credit card or domestic/international travel insurance covers this. We do not freeze or deduct your excess from your credit card and only action the excess or part thereof in the event of an accident or damage occurring and provide copies of any repair quote.
The excess is applicable regardless of who is at fault and must be paid at the time the accident is reported. If the accident was not the fault of the hirer, then the excess charged will be refunded once we are successful in recovering the costs of damage from the third party. Damage caused by the incorrect use or fitting of snow chains, ski racks and bike racks are not included in C.D.W. coverage. Excess reduction is available (CDW) please ask.

Driving Restrictions
Tasman Valley Road (Mt Cook), Skippers Canyon (Queenstown) and any unformed roads including beaches i.e. roads other than tar-seal and metal.
All Vehicle Hires are subject to the Terms and Conditions incorporated in the rental agreement.
